Yacht Valuations

This service is provided in close cooperation with our special Survey and Inspection department to provide yacht valuations for existing or new vessels, normally it will identify strategic options for yacht refits or other upgrading projects, securitization of loans ,sale and purchase, asset management and asset protection or budgeting .

Yacht Valuation Surveys
SEWOCO ’s thorough knowledge permits us to provide a world wide service for the valuation survey of primary existing yachts or large luxury yachts from 60 ft or 18 meters up to app 510 ft or 150 meters in size, as yacht owners, yacht brokers, financial institutions , insurance companies or others may require. FULL YACHT VALUATION
A full appraisal is one that includes a survey of the yacht and its maintenance records. This survey is aimed solely at determining the overall condition of the yacht and records to support the value opinions of the appraiser, and will , include opening of inspection panels on the yacht together with the Chief engineer or another designated person onboard , we will also have a detailed review of the yachts record archives. A full appraisal would normally provide a value that includes adjustments from the mid-time, mid-life baseline to account for the actual maintenance status of the yacht, and possibly other adjustments to reflect the findings of the inspection of the yacht and its records.
At SEWOCO OCEANIC we do belive that a physical inspection is nessesary to give the full picture of the yacht and this is where we differentiate ourselves from our competiton since every yacht and super yacht is special and so is the valuation and asset value.
The Appraisal and Valuation includes the following:
1. Unbiased Certified Appraisal based on client submitted data of actual conditions & times of a specific yacht. Client must complete yacht Datasheet
2. Value definitions: Fair Market Value, Future Fair Market Value, Replacement Value
3. Service includes: Printed report, images & large files on USB, shipping cost, necessary conference calls, emails, letters as required to see project through to completion
